Objectives - to identify and understand the various challenges and obstacles we face on a daily basis as we use the Internet, to develop strategies to use the Internet positively and responsibly, and to share what we learn as a class in the form of poster guidelines.

NATURAL DISASTERS CROSS-CURRICULAR PROJECT
GUIDING QUESTION: How can technology be used ethically to assist those affected by natural disasters?
GOAL: to create a research-based website outlining guidelines that use technology for natural disaster assistance, and which is both easily accessible and transmittable on a portable device in the advent of a disaster.
TASKS: research, group brainstorming, multiple drafts, peer review and edit, bibliography, website (including final guideline list), presentation.
DUE DATES:
PART 1 (due April 12, 2018) - Research, bibliography, 10 references, 2-3 sentence summary of each
PART 2 (due April 20, 2018) - Outline, Document draft of website, with demarcated sections, content, titles, etc
PART 3 (due May 4, 2018 - shared beginning of class) - Construction of website based on outline, with inclusion of multimedia (pictures, videos, etc)
